| 257845 | 2004-08-03 11:09:00 | I use windows ME. Two week ago when starting my computer a dial up window to connect with the internet started to open up each time I start my computer I have run spybot search and Destroy and have found no spyware etc. Also when I right click on a file a dial up window also opens up each time i click the properties tag. I have the box "always dial my default connection" in dial up connection settings ticked Thank you |

| 257848 | 2004-08-05 09:28:00 | Sounds like you have Norton System Works/Antivirus/Firewall installed. When I was using Me I found they were the culprits for the behaviour you outline, and fixed it by disabling all the automatic update features. |
