| 257679 | 2004-08-02 23:26:00 | I added a PCI Network card to my system last night. XP reported that I had made considerable changes to my system and had to reactivate Windows! Is a minor change considered plugging in a USB device, or maybe even putting a CD in the tray? I hate to think what would happen if I changed the hard drive or something - XP would have a meltdown lol. J :D |

| 257681 | 2004-08-02 23:49:00 | The NIC does tend to have a higher ranking, but I have changed HDD, RAM, added PCI cards (not NIC's) and never needed to reactivate. | godfather (25) | ||

| 257683 | 2004-08-03 01:20:00 | if i remeber correctly NIC's are the highest rated. however i have added and removed various NIC's from XP pc's without ever needing activation. winblows for ya. | tweak'e (174) | ||
