| 258191 | 2004-08-04 12:55:00 | In the recently closed thread you stated that we had broken the rules,so you locked the thread. now looking at the rules,i would presume that you refered to this one? 4) Subject Matter: Please refrain from or asking for, or giving advice on how to pirate software. This includes posting links to sites where Warez, no CD hacks, keygens etc etc can be found. And yes, this also covers advice on how to illegally gain access to a commercial service, such as Sky TV. Now,im pretty sure,no im 100 percent positive that not a single one of us came anywhere close to giving advice on how to pirate software,nor did we post links to any such subject matter,we were however discussing the legalities as described under NZ law. So please enlighten us,or me at least as to what part of the above rule was broken?...or is it an unwritten rule that all discussion on the topic of ilegal software is banned? is backup a dirty word? Does this mean that any article on the subject of warez is considered to be condoning it? I for one are quite disapointed. |
