2004-08-05 00:42:00 | Fine print says first minute charged and then at 1 second intervals..... so youre first min is cheap but you pay lots for every second after??? is that correct????? doesnt actually sound much different to the plan i am on, except 200 free is to any phone, and monthly fee is about the same i think. and i dont make 200 txt a month...... every month. so i wont be changing. and i dont have pxt capable phone. cant see the point when i dont make a lot of daily calls, and dont manage to use all my 200 mins...... wouldnt be any better or worse off really for me. beetle

2004-08-05 00:44:00 | I don't think i would send 200 txt's in a year.........30 maybe. | metla (154) | |
2004-08-05 01:43:00 | Yeah, but some need to send more than that. Ever tried meeting three friends in your local Shopping Center? Cellphones / Txting comes in handy...... Very easy to do 5, 10, 20 txt's in a matter of a few minutes :p

2004-08-05 02:10:00 | I would probably text 100 a month.I've asked vodafone about this plan and asked if there's any more like the $40 one but they say thats the only one they have at the moment.I was hoping to look for one that was like the bluetooth account plan but half the price of that | yingxuan (3330) | |
2004-08-05 05:22:00 | I use my handset for about an hour of peak calling every month. I rarely ever use text messaging. So, here's how it would stack up for me: Mobilise 50 : $49.40 Motormouth : $69.35 So, for me, the deal is nothing to rave about. Of course, the 200 minutes of Vodafone - Vodafone calls on Motormouth could even them out a bit, but I still think the Mobilise 50 plan works out far cheaper.

2004-08-05 23:08:00 | but guys i think this plan is quite good, at least the nz mobile industry finally moving into the right track.... i don't have ppl use telecom mobile, so this is a very good deal.... For this plan, vodafone market strategy is totally use a way to block us to phone telecom or even texting to telecom mobile.... and help us to make some cheap call.... in regards to plan, i think vodafone will release some more smaller plan if the demand is enough.... but i am assuming this demand is very hot, as i phone them yesterday at midnight, it take me 5min to get into a customer services representative... so guys who are on telecom, are u consider switching back to vodafone? | 258340 | 2004-08-06 00:23:00 | I just heard that australia sms text messaging international has gone up!I feel lucky that vodafone is decreasing and not increasing the price!! In hong kong it costs $0.61 per text to any international cellphone

2004-08-06 01:20:00 | hi yingxuan yes, australia have already raised up their sms since beginning of the year... i think because in australia ppl are just using mobile phone call instead of using sms... (because their phone called at there is so cheap as well!!!) hmmm, i don't think u need to worry about HK for sending txt message, who will use that anyway, since ppl there got so many "Anytimes" minutes to chat with..... (i think as u heard on the hk radio, ppl in hk just use their cellphone to chat with radio host as well!!!), so they have so many free minutes to use with to use up their free minutes within the month..
