The second account was just a test,its not needed now we know its not a driver,hardware issue or a startup program causing it.

We have succesfully pinpointed it as a user setting,you just need to reset your desktop settings and all will be well.

I did reset them in the Control panel - Display (- anywhere else where I should do it)?

258645 2004-08-06 08:49:00 I just want to thank all you guys for the help given today - I just hope I can remember some of it next time disaster strike. For a dedicated ME user this XP is really different and difficult.
