259471	2004-08-08 05:39:00	I want to create a formula for a cell in Excel that says if the value in cell D is less than minus 10 enter -10. Assuming that Excel recognizes that minus 19.05 is less than minus 10. Cell A $0.420 Cell B $0.340 Cell C-$0.08 Cell D -19.05% Can this be done? Your help would be appreciated.	ronmar (3384)
259472	2004-08-08 05:43:00	Hi Ronmar I'm a little confused by your question, but have you tried this : if(D1<-10,-10,D1) However, if you have formatted the "Cell D" to % the the formula shoud be : if(D1<-0.1,-0.1,D1) Or, if you literally mean "enter -10" Then you may want to try this : if(D1<-0.1,"Enter -10"," ") HTH Andrew	andrew93 (249)
