Noted in past spreads something about some older programs may have trouble, but can't find the post concerned. I don't care what the rest of the posters in this spread have said. As far as I'm concerned, Linux has a long way( like eternity) to go before I would ever consider it as sole operating system. Its fine for those with 2 computers or have a large harddrive which can be partitioned, but I have neither of those 2 options. Anyway, thanks once again regards Marg. |

| 259179 | 2004-08-08 03:40:00 | Sorry Elephant - One Service Pack only for WinXP Home and Pro. Its pointless making two because the vast majority of Code-base is shared between the two OS's. Windows XP Pro is by and large the same as Home but with more advanced Networking stuff for Corporate Buff's. Ive had no issues with Windows XP Service Pack 2. None! Ive been installing it on all my customers PC's for the past three or so months and not a single one has come back to me as I instructed if they have issues with Windows crashing constantly (Strange... Im sure the should have come back regardless...). I dont know what this dig is that you always feel compelled to take against Linux either Elephant? Windows XP Service Pack 2 is out! Im downloading it right now! As ILL has already said there are torrents out there for it also. I dont see what your problem is man, but do you really have to harrass Metla like that? Chill man.... |
