| 259500 | 2004-08-08 08:18:00 | Just finished installing XP Pro on a machine that was running 98SE. On powerdown the machine would switch itself off after leaving Windows. Now it tells me that the machine is "able to be turned off" and I have to press the on/off switch for a few moments. Is the "fix" an XP one or do I have to retweak the BIOS? Sorry to throw in what should be a remembered action, but I can't seem to put my finger on it. Cheers, Ken |

Those little tweaks one has used before but can never remember what they were. Guess that little Cardfile programme will be getting well used, eh. Once again, many thanks. I have another query, but that can wait for a couple of days. Only have one question for you. As usual, you were fast out of the starting blocks with the answer. Do you never sleep??!!? Kind regards, Ken |
