259462 2004-08-08 07:12:00 Hey,

I have a HP 5181 keyboard and the shortcut buttons up the top (shopping, search, connect etc..) arn't working. Do I need to activate them???

Thanks AJ

259463 2004-08-08 08:00:00 I'd say that you should have a cd/floppy that has the necessary software to activate those keys. sam m (517)
259464 2004-08-08 08:28:00 I can't find one. Is there some thing I can download for this to work??? deejay_ajay (5421)
259465 2004-08-08 08:52:00 Plenty of places, but it depends what version of Windows.
And you don't mention that.

Simply put
HP 5181 keyboard driver
into Google and take your pick.

HP website will probably have it as well.

259469 2004-08-08 10:49:00 What was the name of the file you downloaded?

If it was an .exe file, then run it.

259470 2004-08-08 11:39:00 My HP 8201 keyboard doesn't need drivers - must be a generic signal.

Going into a game, or something that accepts incoming keyboard signals and tells you what they are (i.e. not word) and see what happens when your press them.

Also try the hotkey selector in winamp.
