260337 2004-08-10 18:43:00 Some of you may remember the problem I had with my Panasonic Laser last month.
I received it back from DSL after a wait of ond day under three weeks. I received a report "Faulty paper sensor" Repaired.
I hooked it up and printed out a couple of test pages. It worked the way it should. Happy me.
This week I printed out two, two page documents. No problems.
Yesterday I printed a short memo. It started normaly but as it was about to print I heard yhe dreaded "graunchy" noise. But it printed out OK.
Later in the morning I wanted to print something so I sent it off. Graunchy noise, Complete stop. Message arrives, Out of paper or paper blockage at A: .
Removed page ad rechecked everything was OK, ant tried again, and again, and again.
Next move. Printer into my car and back to Dick Smith. Plonked it on the counter and told them I want it replaced seeing as how they can't repair it.
They sent it back to Auckland with a full report. They can't make replacements locally. Some Aucklander does that.
So will see what happens now.
Jack
