Here are the release notes (support.microsoft.com) The Windows XP SP2 support site can be found here (support.microsoft.com) There is not yet a link on these pages to download SP2. However the direct link to SP2 is WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe (download.microsoft.com) The correct MD5 sum is: 59a98f181fe383907e520a391d75b5a7 Dial up users take note, the download is 266MB. |

| 259978 | 2004-08-10 01:23:00 | So would I be correct in thinking ( as I did ) that there is a full network version for upgrading multiple computers and another smaller version for most people whom only have one computer. If you look at the top of that article it seems to suggest that. I hope that both install types will be on the PC World CD. :-) I do realise of course that the one big version will do it all. |
