259985 2004-08-09 21:58:00 Recently I wrote and published my first web page. No problems.
Then I modified my first effort to a more advanced page, which contains links to other pages on different topics. When I test it on my hard drive, everything works perfectly. But when I upload all pages from my computer to the host server (think I’m using the correct terminology there) what happens is the home page (index.html) displays correctly, but none of the links work – they are still trying to access the pages on my hard drive.
I’m sure my error must be really basic, but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Any help much appreciated.

Ensure the path is correct. In other words, if you have index.html and the linking page, say, me.htm, in the same folder on your hard drive, then make sure they are in the same folder on the host's server. Also once you have uploaded, refresh your brower.
