| 260807 | 2004-08-12 05:16:00 | Hey guys has anyone picked up any problems with DX9c? I've read a few forums where some users have noted a slight drop in performance... between 5 and 10 fps less in Doom 3, I read somewhere? Has anyone had similar experiences? cheers chiefnz |

| 260813 | 2004-08-12 11:30:00 | Man, 5fps would suck considering I average only 4 when running some games at High-Res on my laptop... 9 if I run at 640x480 ;-) | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||
| 260814 | 2004-08-12 12:21:00 | When I had DX9c it gave me a 10 point~ increase in 3dMark03, and a few extra frames in Far Cry. I wouldn't matter too much if it loses frames in Doom3, it's only one game and probably only a driver issue. I imagine Ati and Nvidia haven't quite got around to optimising for DX9c. | kiki (762) | ||
