260761 2004-09-04 22:37:00 I'm not giving up that easily. There must be a way of getting XP Explorer to behave like Win98 Explorer. Or maybe there's a separate program available somewhere. Has anybody heard of one?

260762 2004-09-05 01:54:00 I have never got around to trying it out myself but PowerDesk (www.pcworld.com) has been recommended here a few times. Not sure if it will do what you want but check out the latest version (www.v-com.com) for its features.

As you can see from the first site I linked to the one I have is no longer available but I can send you a copy of mine if you are interested. Just let me know.

260763 2004-09-07 21:44:00 Thanks Susan,
Power Desk does do exactly what I want. I'd forgotten about Power Desk, having tried it on an older Win98 m/c last year and wiped it due to its' slow running speed (on that platform).

I'm happy now!!
