| 260698 | 2004-08-11 23:32:00 | I am running Windows XP Professional on my PC, but not Internet Explorer or Outlook Express. I have opted to use Firefox and Thunderbird. Will the new SP2 load successfully onto my PC if I don't have IE or OE loaded? |

If you dont have IE & OE Not installed then windows will Not work :D ;) ( as OE/IE is part of Windows) But if you mean you opted to used Firefox and Thunderbird instead of IE/OE then... Yes Win Xp Sp2 Will install fine & both Firefox and Thunderbird will still work after you install Win XP Sp2 :) PS: Just a Tip: Make sure you backup every thing before you update to Sp2, just to be on the safe side :) |
