| 1367336 | 2014-02-10 19:37:00 | Having trouble connecting to the internet at times with my Netcomm NB6plus 4wn router, have reset it many times to no avail, does this mean its time for a new one, help would be appreciated | PeterQ (16315) | ||

Who's your ISP? You can get around that by using something such as Google DNS: developers.google.com (Long story short, change your DNS settings in your router to "8.8.8.8" and "8.8.4.4". |

| 1367339 | 2014-02-11 02:01:00 | Maybe check the line stats on the router in case it's a line fault, also when it does connect is it at a fairly consistant sync speed or does it vary (a sign of an unstable line). When you reset it have you tried a total power down - wait 30 secs - power back up cycle? It's a popular router with a reputation for being reliable but that doesn't mean they won't fail, I had one that died just after the warranty expired and had been playing up a bit prior to that. Still I seem to be good at killing routers, been through a few now. Try Chill's suggestions first though, and talk to your ISP before replacing it in case it is something at their end. Do you have the free telecom supplied router available to try? |

| 1367341 | 2014-02-11 23:27:00 | my router never had an issue with my setup, yet constantly kicked my girlfriend off her connection. we worked out the likely cause was it trying to pull adsl 2 speeds on really old lines; her current modem is an old telecom ADSL1 thing. So if your network connectivity is going down too, potentially the modem. if simply the internet, i would think it'd be more an ISP issue. |
