1348501 2013-07-10 10:51:00 Hey everyone,

As most would know, the need for an income when studying is a necessity for some . I have applied to numerous job advertisements yet have had no success in acquiring such a job as a website developer . I have a full semester off from studies until i return, and therefore require a job . Currently, im creating HTML5 and CSS3 websites for a few minor companies and clubs, although it doesnt provide a viable method of income .

Therefore, i am considering not searching for an IT related job until i have completed my last year, Bachelor Computer and Information Sciences, as majority of jobs require 1-3 years previous work experience and, or a Bachelors . Any advice would be much appreciated, shall i remain searching for an IT related job, or settle for a run of the mill cafe waiting job? and any appropriate job websites aside from Trademe and Seek .

If you are a recent graduate or current university computer science student, have you had much success in attempt to get a job in IT related areas as of late?

Cheers

Current student. Still got two or so semesters to go. :)

Honestly, about ten minutes :p

Seriously though, I'd been on SJS for a while but decided to go on one day and found the job at Indus. :)
