Just think back to the Brit 'sports cars' of the 60's & 70's . They really werent very good.
Even some of the 70's 80's expensive Italian supercars would be a joke compared to basic modern Toyota/Nissan 'sports' cars
Top Gear did a few programs on some old 70's supercars, they werent that flash compared to modern jappa family cars

But yeah, if you want serious, watch 5th gear or one of the other very boring programs instead.
TG is just for fun, thats why so many millions watch it worldwide.
Is the new series being shown on Prime/Sky yet, or another 6-12month wait ?

1348881 2013-07-16 08:00:00 Fifth gear is the original Top Gear presenters mainly Tiff Needel, Quinten Wilson, Steve Berry and that girl with the double barrel name along with Jeremy Clarkson and Tony Mason they were all on Top Gear before it was reborn in the format as we know it now gary67 (56)

Nope. Still Japan and light commercial in in places like Thailand though I believe that some European Fords for this region are also now made in Thailand.... 		paulw (1826)

Not for the usual cars (yawn), but the state of things in Spain.
Empty/abandoned newish airport,abandoned/empty new motorway, completely empty & abandoned suburbs full of brand new housing, new roads that literally go no-where . Like one of those sci-fi movies where everyone has dissapeared .
The sort of thing that has to be seen to be believed. All a bit scarey, thats what happens when recession really hits 		1101 (13337)
