Just had a look though some of his threads, namely the clock one, and for the life of me I can't see what's wrong with any of the replies...everyone was nice and helpful, especially Wainui, far beyond what would be expected, and all Vince can do is insult everyone. Must have woken up on the wrong side of bed this year. :rolleyes: Can we vote for a Banning ;) the guy obviously doesnt want to be here , or be polite to others trying to offer advice to vague questions Everyone has grumpy days, but still..... |

| 1348468 | 2013-07-09 23:57:00 | I understand the frustration when you ask a question and the answers have no relevance or are off on a tangent, I think I've gotten grumpy over that in the past myself then regretted my responses later. But far from a waste of space this forum has helped myself and many others solve issues many times and continues to do so. Occasionally the solution is not to be had and you have to look elsewhere, that doesn't make the efforts to answer your question worthless or having a go at people for trying to help justified. If Vince wants the perfect answer to his questions supplied immediately without having to explain himself or supply any further information when asked perhaps he should ring the psychic hotline. I know I shouldn't have posted in that clock thread, said as much at the time, but his angry insulting manner annoyed me and I bit. I think that sums up several of the responses in that thread. A clear concise question with all relevant information and a friendly manner would reduce the unhelpful responses a great deal, but heaven forbid the fault might be with the person asking the question rather than those trying to answer. I try not to answer threads I can't contribute to most of the time (with an occasional exception), I think most here are the same the majority of the time unless someone kicks the hornets nest. |

I often find that the solution to another's technical problem is the answer to my problem. And I sometimes find that the answer to another's problem is not the answer to my problem.
