1368122 2014-02-19 22:29:00 I cant view many websites using Win7 and IE11 64 bit because I need Adobe Flash player, Im told. I repeatedly download, install, enable addons; and uninstall and repeat. Successfully! But still I cant access these websites.
What to do?
Could this be because i will not also install simultaneously the Google Chrome browser?

1368123 2014-02-20 00:02:00 Are they dodgy sites or legit sites?

I'm guessing that if you can't view them its because you haven't installed Flash properly. All of your browsers will recognise Flash once it is installed properly.

1368125 2014-02-20 00:56:00 Would this uninstaller (download.macromedia.com) from Adobe do the trick? It's there own uninstaller tool. Tbird650 (6754)
1368126 2014-02-20 20:34:00 not sure why you're using the 64bit browser. the 32bit version is far more likely to have an up-to-date flash plugin. autechre (266)
1368127 2014-02-20 22:15:00 Both of them have the same version of Flash. 12.0.0.70 just came out. Go into IE's internet options / security tab. Untick enable protected mode. This can cause probs Speedy Gonzales (78)
1368128 2014-02-21 00:54:00 I had to do that, Speedy, as I couldn't display Computer Lounge's Components page. All the other sections were fine. Go figure.

IE11 has an inbuilt flash player so loading Adobe Flash separately is not needed. But, IE11 and flash are problematic (try googling it). To get flash videos to play I have to put up with a brief display telling me I need to install flash player - sheeeessh!!
