| 1367645 | 2014-02-14 22:33:00 | Ok a mate has purchased an El-Cheapo HP Laptop (14-d005au) from Warehouse Stationary which will mainly be used for a Bit of browsing and E-Mails. Anyway, apart from the expected circus getting his head around Win 8.1 it will do all he needs. However, he wants to use it mainly as a desktop, with usb Keyboard & Mouse plus big screen. All is good, except he wants to be able to use it with the lid shut. Now in previous laptops I have owned that was a simple matter of making the correct choice in the CMOS setup. Problem is I cant get into Setup upon boot. Ive tried Del, F2, F12 noooop goes straight to Windows. Soooooooo, can anyone familiar with these new Laptops advise how to achieve the lid control? :thanks PS (The manual that came with it is less than useless.) |
