| 260941 | 2004-08-12 10:59:00 | My 20month old NEC DVD RW+ ND-1100a won't recognise that a disk has been inserted. Whether you put in a cdr, cdrom, dvdr, dvdrw+ it always asks "Pls. insert a disk into drive d:". How do these detect that a disc in on the tray anyway? Obviously if by laser and it has had its day, then I'll have to replace the drive. Could it simply be a replaceable detector/led ? Any feedback on this drive ? Thanks t |
