Almost, my good friend.

Other than purely for attention, I am studying how long it takes for my simple point of view to turn into a overwhelmingly inane argument in which large amounts of taunting and personal attacks are made - inevitably getting the thing locked.

I realised this shortly after I posted the first time - there is no point in trying to reason with y'all.

261376 2004-08-16 09:25:00 Your simple point of view is very dangerous one if you are sincere if you are not sincere then you are a troll. Try some authenticity for a change.

Either way you loose.

:^O oh! Growly. I think I'll wander off for a mo and have some R&R. What do ya reckon, a bit of Diablo 11? see if I can get my Barbarian up a few rungs to civility ;)

Cheers Murray ;P

Well that is rather sad Growly. Why don't you do something more positive on this forum rather than try and induce flamewars purely for your own entertainment. This sort of activity then brings down the whole keep-it-friendly tone of PF1.

See?

Nasty, nasty, nasty, nasty!

I understand that this post is now a waste of everybody's time - that was not my original intention. However, you perpetuate it and further add to my point by criticising me and others - if you don't like, let it go off the front page, into the depths of the servers hard drives.

That way, you'll be the maturer one, and I'll feel pretty stink: mission accomplished, no?

I still, however, maintain that people give Telecom a hard time way too often.

261380 2004-08-16 09:41:00 No, not nasty just some straight talk. zqwerty (97)
261381 2004-08-16 09:46:00 Guess you got taught at school that any point of view is valid no matter what it is just as long as you hold it.

Welcome to the real world.

Careful mate - I didn't say that. I do say that everyone is entitled to their own view - and to hold it without fear of persecution or negativity.

As I have seen, we don't get that too often.

What they did teach us in school was the freedom of speech we had - and will continue to have as long as we don't impose our opinions. I was merely sharing mine - and look what happened; insults!

261383 2004-08-16 10:03:00 You have already admitted you are trolling.

William Shakespeare:

Cry havoc! and let loose the dogs of war

Bertrand Russell:

Neither a man nor a crowd nor a nation can be trusted to act humanely or to think sanely under the influence of a great fear.

One of the chief obstacles to intelligence is credulity, and credulity could be enormously diminished by instructions as to the prevalent forms of mendacity. Credulity is a greater evil in the present day than it ever was before, because, owing to the growth of education, it is much easier than it used to be to spread misinformation, and, owing to democracy, the spread of misinformation is more important than in former times to the holders of power.

Do you recognise yourself?
