I've created the unattended installation file for WinXP (winnt.sif) and wish to insert it into the i386 folder so that I can burn a bootable CD for future use. I need to create an ISO image of my XP os cd on HDD, then copy the unattended file to the ISO image and then burn a bootable CD. Of course, I can use Nero to create a bootable CD but if I can create an ISO image and burn it, don't you think it will be more "ORIGINAL" ? Cheers |

Not exactly, I want to create an "unattended install" XP OS CD, where I can store the CD KEY, into the OS setup CD. I may slipstream the SP2 in this Project. |

| 261080 | 2004-08-13 11:26:00 | do u not own nero? copy cd>use iso format. Then use isobuster to add/extract files to the iso. Job done. Or do a search for "make a bootable cd" |

If copying the files off the CD works for slipstreaming, it'll work for what you want to do. Mike. |

| 261082 | 2004-08-13 11:30:00 | All you need to do is copy all the contents of the xp cd into a folder insert any files you want were you want and create a bootable cd or iso image with Nero, you will of course need the XP boot file, I think you can find it at bootdisk.com |
