2004-08-12 12:57:00 | >I Want to know if anyone knows how do hack passwords ;) I want to know the answer to this too. Not because I want to hack anyone else's passwords, and not even my own. But what I do want to know is if anyone else knows how to hack my passwords, this being one very fair interpretation of the question as posed. And If so how do I defend against it? (keyloggers beware!, sometimes I bite) Is there some suggestion this is not an admissible topic for discussion on PressF1? If so I'd be pretty disappointed.

2004-08-12 21:26:00 | server 2003 aye, isn't that some big software that a lot of companies and schools use? By the way you speak, it seems you'd probably be not any older than 12, therefore you have to wonder how you got access to server 2003 in the first place? - David

2004-08-13 00:14:00 | One way you can protect yourself is to create a use and make it an administrator. Then disable or delete the "Administrator" user account name. as that is the one that most hackers try to find. This only makes it harder for hackers and by no means stops them dead in their tracks. The only way to do that is to locate them and then visit them in thier own home, what you do after that could very well ensure they never hack again :-) | Odin (227) | |
2004-08-13 16:53:00 | Odin: Give me 5 mins at a PC and I'll have un-disabled it, cleared out the password, and be logged in. Its a piece of piss.... http://insert.cd dude ;-)

2004-08-14 02:27:00 | I was actually talking about attempt through the network not actually physically in front of the computer, even a 5 year old could get in from there :) :D | Odin (227) | |
2004-08-14 07:25:00 | so you're pretty much admitting you're trying to hack something | DangerousDave (697) | |
