2004-08-12 23:17:00 | Called them on the business line on Monday, left a message. No return call. So I tried the home help line this morning - 90 minutes estimated wait time. So I rang the business freephone again - Am on hold to them now...32 mins and still on hold. Seems they aren't too keen on my business! Lucky it's a handsfree phone, but I'm busting to go to the toilet. Or am I being too picky?

2004-08-12 23:30:00 | Got answered at 45 mins - now just gotta wait for them to call back with the info I need. Won't hold my breath though. | falvrez (390) | |
2004-08-13 00:19:00 | I have had the same experience with Telstra Clear, although not quite that bad. The last time I rang their residential call centre, I was told that the waiting time would be 22 minutes, so I promptly hung up and sent my enquiry by email. If Vodafone can respond to customer enquiries within five minutes, then why can't Telstra Clear? Having said that, it does seem to vary depending on the time of day that you call. First thing in the morning seems to be the best option.

2004-08-13 01:15:00 | TelstraClear has just posted its first Profit. The cost saving methods included cutting the call center down to 1 person. | PaulD (232) | |

2004-08-13 04:31:00 | Any business that can't be bothered making sure their phones are answered in 5 minutes or less shouldn't be in business. If I am kept waiting that long I hang up and go somewhere else. When all their customers do the same and their profit margin starts dropping through a hole then they may wake up and do better. | Peter M (852) | |
