| 260999 | 2004-08-12 22:41:00 | Hi I'm trying to do a stacked column chart to show componants that make up a total. I want the chart to be easily interpreted so need the columns on the chart to be wide enough to understand at a glance. When I select just the data from my source I have no problem and get nice fat stacks on my chart but with no dates. When however I expand the selection to pull in the dates so they go along the X axis, the resulting stacks move from a fat stack in the middle of the chart column to a narrow stack left aligned at the tick mark of the relevant date. Reducing the data shown on the chart down to just a few series leaves plenty of room between the dates but still only a narrow stack. Any ideas on how I can fatten my stacks? |
