261302 2004-08-13 23:50:00 I am trying to run FrontPage 2003 on my PC which is running Windows 98SE. Frontpage needs win2000 sp3 to run. Is there any way I can emulate windows 2000 on my pc to run this?

Please dont tell me to upgrade, im obviously too poor:)
any help would be appreciated.

261304 2004-08-14 00:30:00 My dad got it free through his work along with office professional, Visio and project. The idea is to keep the cost DOWN. M@TT (149)

261306 2004-08-14 04:32:00 Easy (but not overly cheap):

VMWare.

It costs about US$200 :( - I'm not sure how long the trial lasts for.

261308 2004-08-14 04:36:00 Of course for both of my suggestions you would require an actual copy of Windows 2000 or XP to install on them anyway :)

261310 2004-08-14 04:41:00 setver might make W98 report itself as W2k. Of course that probably won't make the software work. :D

"setver" to Google will tell you how to.

Definitely won't :) From the Office 2003 box... well nothing cause I can't find my Office 2003 box :D

But anyway, Office 2003 (and all components of it) require Windows 2000 (sp3?) or later, XP, 2003 etc.

running setver to confuse a Microsoft product? I doubt it :D
