2004-08-18 22:59:00 | How do you get the Gmail invote when you join Blogger? I never got one and I can't see anywhere in Blogger where you can. | Sb0h (3744) | |
2004-08-19 05:15:00 | Someone else posted about this the other day. I am having problems with my "Blog This" at the moment and I was looking for info in the help pages when I came across the link I am talking about which offered a free Gmail. Remember that Google now owns Blogger. Can't tell you exactly where it is on the site but somewhere in the help pages I think. I definitely saw it. | zqwerty (97) | |

Gmail is quite cool, despite the fact I have no need for it. And yeah, Yahoo is also lots better since they've revamped the interface and added extra space. I got it just to see what it's like - nothing more than curiosity |

2004-08-23 20:16:00 | have a look around for a program called "pop goes the gmail", then you can use that to get your messages from gmail to you mail client | Budda (2736) | |
2004-08-24 00:10:00 | Thanks Budda. I had a look at "Pop Goes The Gmail". But doesn't that kind of defeat the object? To me the beauty of Gmail is to be able to store all my emails on the 'net. At first I considered the pop3 issue because I wanted to sync with my Ipaq. But the it occured to me that I could have all my email delivered to my orcon account and automatically forwareded to gmail. That way I can have access to all my emails while still being able to sysnc. The only drawback with this si that I can't sync emails that have been sent from gmail. A small price to pay. | POTUS (5276) | |
