261292 2004-08-13 14:02:00 Would the type of document that index.html is make a difference? It's an HTML frameset to display three other pages (all in the same dir), and the noframes bit links to a stylesheet. The site runs fine on my old host.

261293 2004-08-13 14:05:00 No it should'nt make any difference Rob99 (151)
261294 2004-08-13 14:10:00 You could try this as your index.html
<html>
<head>
<title>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh"
CONTENT="100;URL=home.htm">
</head>
</html>
add more meta data if required and change your frameset page to home.htm

261295 2004-08-13 14:16:00 Still no joy. I'm going to bed now, will keep trying tomorrow afternoon. Any more suggestions would really be appreciated, but don't expect any replies until tomorrow (TODAY!!!!). I better get some sleep.

261296 2004-08-13 22:27:00 weird

My Orcon homepage uses index.html and works fine.

You are trying the right url, ie: http://yourname.orcon.net.nz

Sorry if that's a silly question!

Give Orcon a call, they are generally more than happy to help. It's a free call (0508) 4ORCON - (0508) 467 266.

261298 2004-08-13 23:38:00 If you give us the site addy we might be able to help more Greg S (201)
261299 2004-08-15 02:23:00 It now goes!! Thanks for all the help. I think the problem was the amount of time their servers take to update their DNS or something (they say 1 min - I say like hell!! More like 1 day). Everything now goes fine, using the 'index.html' frameset.

Cheers
