Telecom has come up with a UBS offering with a set of commercial terms (like them or NOT).
The commerce commission is coming up with another offering which telecom must implement regardless?
Is this kind of coming out of the blue or did isps have a clue they'd have an option??

And what about this quote... in Regulated and Telecom UBS available soon (computerworld.co.nz)
“The regulated service has some different characteristics to the UBS service currently offered by Telecom," Borthwick says, "particularly in relation to the downstream speeds available to wholesale customers."

That is telling me greater than 256kbits. I mean, great and if true there is SOME sense out there, but I didn't think we were getting that till sometime next year??
