262062 2004-08-16 00:00:00 For the first time in Months Ive refilled the Ink in our Printer. Sadly when I do so the kids in the house manage to print of pages and pages of junk!

We all share a "family" account on the PC the pritner is attached to, and I can print across the LAN.

Is there any way of passwording or placing a similar restriction to the printer from the local "family" account?

Cheers

262063 2004-08-16 00:08:00 If you are using XP then under the printer properties (right click) you can set the times which the printer is available under the "Advanced" tab - I just tried mine by setting it as being available between 2 & 3am and when I printed a document it just sits in the spooler and doesn't print (I suppose it will print at 2am if my PC is on then). This way you can spool all of the jobs and selectively delete / print the jobs you want. andrew93 (249)
