| 262587 | 2004-08-17 10:59:00 | Hi, I made a post a few days ago, about not being able to connect to liveupdate. After further investigations I find that instead of connecting to the internet thought my network adaptor, it tries to connect to 127.0.0.1 on loopback. I've uninstalled/re-installed and done nearly everything under the sun to try and make it work, but it still isn't. Bugger Paul |

If so try internet explorer also i would agree with a earlier post, Zone Alarm has been known to cause this problem also. I believe Zone labs are aware of this and have a solution in their FAQ on this. |

This is the symantec search page (search.symantec.com) also There have been a few threads on this same problem on this site recently have a look i think they were fixed if i remember correctly.If you get a error message put the error number if you get one in the search page.
