2004-08-17 08:20:00 | I thought this would be obvious - by going to Internet Options and looking there, but I can't find it. So where is it, please? I have Windows ME and Internet Explorer 5.5. Thanks | ssssss (2100) | |
2004-08-17 08:34:00 | Tools - Internet Options - Privacy - Advanced (in IE6 anyway) | godfather (25) | |
2004-08-17 09:15:00 | That doesn't seem to work for IE 5.5 | ssssss (2100) | |
2004-08-17 10:07:00 | This is from memory....the settings for cookies are in Internet Explorers security options, View-Internet Options-Security, and click on Advanced tab. Scrolling down you should see Cookies-Always accept cookies; Prompt before accepting cookies; Disable cookies. Something like that.

2004-08-17 11:27:00 | For IE 5.5 Select the Tools menu Select Internet Options in the Tools drop-down menu Select the Security tab on the Internet options window Select the Custom Level button in the Security section Scroll down the Custom Level list until you get to the Cookies section Select the Disable radio button in the "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" section under Cookies Select the Disable radio button in the "Allow per session cookies (not stored)" section under Cookies
