| 262396 | 2004-08-17 01:13:00 | I am a single user using Win XP Pro and I'm planning on letting somebody else my computer for a while as a user or power user. I want to apply certain restrictions but I am not entirely sure on how to implement them. At school for instance, the registry shows up but students are prevented from tinkling with the registry and administrative tools shows up in the control panel, but nothing happens when I double-click it. I also want to make it completely in-accisble for the new user to acces certain drives, Iv'e discovered that simply hiding the drive isn't too secure. How can I apply similar restrictions to my computer? Thanks, |
