263146 2004-08-19 03:04:00 Hi,

Spybot 1.3 picked this up and I got rid of it and then had a look on the net what it was and appears to be a keylogger but may be a false positive, not clear from what I could find through Google.

Any ideas?

Is of concern because I checked in the Registry and lo it is still there! :O

263147 2004-08-19 03:26:00 It looks to be an official Microsoft-supplied component. "scc.viewer.technology" to Google finds a link to microsoft.com which describes it --- to do with fileparsing.

An earlier link gives a response to someone fearing a keylogger, describing it as a false positive from spybot.

Of course some people might describe any MS software as malware.:D

263148 2004-08-19 03:30:00 Well thankls, funny Spybot picked it up. Maybe they'll consider MS products as malware till they fix them up themselves. :^O mark c (247)
