| 263962 | 2004-08-21 07:24:00 | Hey Ya'll, How do I get the 2K style startup screens? (Loading your personal settings; applying security policy etc) Also, how do I get the 2000 style shotdown dialog, with the drop down box? I have tried disabling Fast User Swtiching but that does not work. |

| 263963 | 2004-08-21 07:42:00 | Control Panel / User Accounts / Your name / create a password. Type in a password, then create password. Then go to change the way users log off and untick the welcome screen. I think thats it. |

| 263964 | 2004-08-21 07:45:00 | If you mean you don't want to use the "Welcome Screen" then all you need to do is go to... Control Panel----->Users and Passwords. From there select "Change the way Users logon Once there Deselect the "Use The Welcome Screen option" That should get you to a Win2K login screen with a username and password prompt. hope that helped cheers chiefnz |
