| 263613 | 2004-08-20 12:19:00 | Hmmm... I seem to have a rather large CD collection and am looking for a really nice CD rack... like... one that will hold HEAPS of CD's... Anyone have any ideas where I can find something which can hold approx 1500 cd's...? Not a fan of wood - I like glass and metal personally... My current one is full and am looking for something to replace it with! This (sal.neoburn.net) is a pic of what I have now... Can someone point me in the right direction?? Ta, Lo. |

Have you considered adding to what you have now? What you have now seems to work for you and seems to be full. How you actually find a particular track to play for yourself or a visitor is beyond me. My CD collection is nowhere up to your size. About 70 or so. What I do for myself is to add to an Excel spreadsheet all Audio CDs I have and all tracks on it. This allows me to locate a particular CD or even more than one with a particular song, and artist. Are you having trouble locating a particular CD with a particular Artist or do you want something entirely different to what you have which will hold more CD's and which will look great against your wall? Sorry for the questions. I am not sure if you need advice from an interior designer or advice on how to lay hands on a particular CD or just more storage space. My questions are here so you can answer and hopefully someone that knows will come to your aid. I would have said why not go get another the same as you have now if you just need more space. I also thought that you would prefer to remove what you have now and replace it with something more to your taste. |

Whats up with the wooden speakers over the left then? ;\ AFAIK you can get them from places like Payless Plastics which do some metal shelving also. Otherwise I'd be inclined to try an Office Supplies place.... |
