At home we have a PC and a laptop sharing an internet connection through an ADSL router. Both computers are connected to the router with ethernet cable.
The laptop has an 802.11b card in it. If we replace the cable from the laptop to the router with an access point plugged into the router (so that the connection between the laptop and router becomes a wireless one) will we still be able to share the internet connection as before? My son reckons we can't and I don't know but can't see why not. |
