All very good points.

I am a retailer, "Caveat Emptor" definatley.

The number of "Sales Persons" taking "Unfair advantage" of things like the "shared memory issue" makes it harder for honest retailers to compete fairly.

The buyer in this did not understand what "Shared Memory" ment untill after he had payed.

If you feel youve' been "legally tucked" the "seal thing" can sometimes get results, including the end of any viable relationship with that retailer (Hence use with caution in smaller retailer communities).
