264811 2004-08-24 00:33:00 Aye??

Since when??

True transparency or just the cheap immitation stuff that's been around for ages that simply draws the desktop background?

264812 2004-08-24 00:36:00 Looks really great.

On my Calenz program it has a scheme file you can download with which you can make the program as transparent as you like. It also fades away as it moves down to the task bar.

Hope a lot more programs start doing the same.

264813 2004-08-24 00:42:00 Have I missed the boat here with windows totally or something?

You're telling me its _real_ transparency!?

264814 2004-08-24 00:47:00 Yes.

You can fiddle with transparecy for the lot,

Tool bars,windows,backgrounds,running apps.....

264816 2004-08-24 01:03:00 Nope,i hated it,ditched it after a bit of messing around.

Nor can i tell you what i used or where i got it from.

Surely google would know.

264817 2004-08-24 01:35:00 Can't say I can do it in Windows itself but I know I can set transparancy on my WinAMP program. Was useful to have it sitting at corner of screen at 30% opacity. nzStan (440)
