264685 2004-08-23 10:54:00 Hi guys - am looking to upgrade our company server... Any recommendations on packages out there?

We have been quoted one with a Dell server, but would like to know if there are some really kick-ass packages.

Rough budget including install and setup would be about $6k - $8k + GST. Also, we don't need a tape drive.

264688 2004-08-23 21:23:00 Server will be used for office work. Will be running a proxy, handling ISA, also running SQL database for us as well as running Exchange 2003 and Symantec Antivirus and clients.

Roughly 10 users in total... storage would require 200gb max... prob look at a Raid 5 config.

264689 2004-08-23 23:23:00 HP/Compaq Proliant DL380G - a highly recommended beast if you are after reliability and after sales services. I have three of them humming in the server room. nzStan (440)
