Microsoft have plain-facedly admitted that they are putting all these souped-up features into Longhorn so that a computer uses more resources by simply having folders open. So, Microsoft want people to need powerful graphics cards just to run their flashy shell. Screw them, I say. There's no real need for 3D effects or transparency. |

| 264827 | 2004-08-24 09:54:00 | The Nvidia drivers give you this option. Well 61.77 does. Just go to Properties/settings/advanced/name of videocard/desktop management. Turn on Nview Desktop manager. then OK. Select a program (ie: nternet Explorer), right mouse button / nview options/transparent. IT does the same thing. |
