| 264554 | 2004-08-23 08:47:00 | Out of pure curiosity could you tell me please, what is the correct way to remove unwanted programs, would it be best from Control Panel, (add remove progs) or from the programs own uninstal program? Pibs |

| 264555 | 2004-08-23 08:54:00 | Either way works and will remove the program from the system, /add remove programs. They should point to the same uninstall file that program uses. DON'T delete the folder from with My Computer/Windows Explorer, like some people do (Without using Add/remove, or the programs own uninstall feature. This is a BIG no no. This can cause probs. |

Then you have to delete the program folder, and follow that up with a Registry cleanout of invalid entries. Also a clean out of orphaned .dlls may be required. |
