| 264497 | 2004-08-23 04:28:00 | Just reciently this website (PF1) has been trying to connect me to server-nz.imrworldwide.com... is this another thing you want us to fill out or what? It is not comming through properly? Maybe if you want us to give you info start your own thread and post a link to it instead of hijacking our browsers! You would probally find that more people would fill it out if you asked them to nicely. | Rob99 (151) | ||

| 264502 | 2004-08-23 04:40:00 | its RedSheriff which pcworld use to monitor useage. easy enough to block ;-) "redSheriff measures and analyzes user response to custom-designed interactive media for marketing purposes. Contact is made to remote servers outside of the site from where the information is gathered. RedSheriff embeds a piece of code into pages of certain client Web sites which gives them statistical site usage information about the pages visited, duration of page view, location previous to accessing the RedSheriff Client Web Site, navigational habits of the user, and browser and operating system. Although the code is not used to collect any personally identifiable information, consent from the user is not requested nor is a disclosure given to the user regarding these actions. In addition, if you reject their RedSheriff "Unique Visitor Cookie" which identifies you by an assigned random number, the functionality of RedSheriff Client Web Sites is adversely affected." |

| 264504 | 2004-08-23 04:44:00 | It doesn't load here, Firefox 9.2. But it wastes a lot of time trying to connect. It does send a bit of a negative message - does anyone know what it is - and why we are being subjected to it? R2 |
