265151 2004-08-25 05:43:00 Microsoft slipped the SP2 onto my computer while I was out. I went ahead and installed it but now a lot of images in my emails are just represented by those little boxes with an X inside. Has it turned something off? Cymbalz (4460)
265152 2004-08-25 05:56:00 Yup they have to protect users. The option is under security/block images
and other external content in HTML e-mail. If you click on the email it says above the email (by subject) click on it to view it.

265153 2004-08-25 06:53:00 Many thanks. got it sussed now. How many more of these problems will keep popping up I wonder. Cymbalz (4460)
265154 2004-08-25 06:57:00 Its not a problem its to stop people from clicking on links in html emails which may contain links to viruses or trojans.

Its there for your protection..Just like disabling and enabling saving and running of attachments u get in email.

265155 2004-10-30 06:45:00 I lost the bar that says "Click here to download images". The HTML blocker is not ticked. All I get is the little square. I've obviously done something stupid BUT I want my bar back. Can anyone help please? Leendert (1322)

You are sure that the server that has the images on is online?
