Do I need special software to play back? Have you tried it before?

Have i tried it?

Not only have i tried it i captured,encoded and burnt dozens of hours of vcr footage to dvd.

265105 2004-08-25 10:01:00 If its a TV tuner. You need the program for it and the drivers so it runs. And some programs like the Leadtek TV tuners have an option for external video etc.. Just plug in whatever and change the option.

Why do you want to view video thru a PC for?? Just get a IDE DVD. Heaps better and clearer.
