265190 2004-08-25 10:52:00 It's pretty obvious I have no imagination at all, though I did have the moniker Ford Prefect for a few Hitchhikers posts in the old forum :) Terry Porritt (14)

265193 2004-08-25 16:50:00 Welcome back, Dorothy.
I see you've been away for 18 months.
Was it the trip to Oz - and now we can assume you're back in Kansas?
(How does being a communist go down there? Interesting, I suspect...)

A voice from beyond the grave? That's spooky.:O

I do have great admiration for his work though, so maybe that is why the name popped up. There is really no way to analyse spontaneous thoughts like that.

I was BT on the old Forum too.

Cheers

265196 2004-08-25 23:43:00 "I'm Spartacus!"

Drawn from a sequence in the 1960 gladiator movie Spartacus, it's about standing up for your belief when there is everything to lose and nothing to gain but honour.

"What we do in life echoes in eternity"

From a more humorous perspective, we had a cat named Spartacus who we later discovered was a girl... :8} ...Needless to say she didn't take any crap from the rest of the neighbourhood moggies.

265197 2004-08-25 23:52:00 My real name is Alfred J. Prufrock, but it sounds a bit pretentious if you know what I mean. :^O mark c (247)
265198 2004-08-25 23:59:00 JJJJJ came as a result of a burst of bad temper. Firstly I hate this log on nonsense and secondly It wouldn't accept "Jack" as a log on name. So I said "Bugger" and hit the J key five times.
Beat that !
