265145 2004-08-25 09:05:00 I've got an 8086 and I think an 8088 somewhere - both working, but I have no idea where I've put them :)

265146 2004-08-25 12:15:00 We've got a fine Amstrad 6128 under one of the beds. Was going fine last time I saw it...with the floppy drive belt replaced with a rubber band. I guess that was around the mid eighties. We wrote little programs for it..some still in use on the old Win 98 but I think with XP it's bye bye to them. We had a great Amstrad Club here in Hamilton (now the Hamilton PC Club), and the monthly Amstrad Action Mag was our bible. Oh happy days....Cheers Ken paradox (1082)

Don't beleive it. Recently did an upgrade on my older brothers PC. Became an XP machine and the site for his accounting software said it wouldn't work for versions below 3.3 but I got it working.
