265169 2004-08-25 06:26:00 Well I shudder everytime I look at mine !
Was at the end of my tether when I first posted here, and expressed it in my username. Bad, baaaad mistake. Godfather was one of the first to help with my problem. Unfortunately, in my reply I thanked "grandfather" instead. He was polite enough not to say anything.

Only other time I had a nickname was in the Air Force. Hair had to be above your collar. When I pulled it up in a band, there was always the odd short bits that stuck out, getting me the nickname of Red Rooster.

Had thought of changing it to just 'marg', but you have to create a new account, so now I just put up with it and keep hoping the system puts it in automatically rather than my having to type it out all the time.

265170 2004-08-25 06:33:00 Because I have many friends in low places .

And an endless supply of horses heads, for sending to those that refer to me as Grandfather . . . or touch my hair .

265171 2004-08-25 06:43:00 I went with originality for mine :p

Actually, I did contemplate using a more snazzy username when I registered in the new PF1 forum when it went live, but decided to stick to the one I used in the old PressF1 forum - boring huh! :D

265173 2004-08-25 06:51:00 Jen C went with originality. So did I . A grandfather 3 times now. Neat when you can just hand them back & say, " Now you know what it was like bringing you lot up" .To MY kids. I Love them all.

265175 2004-08-25 07:30:00 Not sure how I came up with the first 6 characters in my id (it's coming back to me slowly....) and the last 2 digits are always available on any web login so I just stick with it - bonus is that it's easy for people to underestimate me if they think I was born in '93 :D

265178 2004-08-25 08:49:00 Well I was going to say I “peter out”so I put “out” into Open Office double clicked “out” so it gets highlighted, then I click onto “Tools” => Thesaurus and select “aberrant” so how about “Peter Aberrant” for a name?

Then I get a new job and I thought I would get more money, so how about Earnie Moore, But now I am not so sure, Maybe I should of called myself Earnie ambiguous been a bit doubtful?

Mind you how about “ten fingers” for a name?

And I was just thinking the other week how most posters got their name .
